The Particles Platform brings together EU industry associations representing manufacturers of materials in the form of particles, including poorly soluble low toxicity particles (PSLTs). Following the presentation at the CARACAL meeting on 3 July, and building on our first event held in 2022, we are pleased to invite you to the Particles Platform 2025 Workshop, taking place on 2 October 2025 in Brussels from 09:30 to 15:00 CET.

This workshop will explore the regulatory landscape for particles and you will:

• Access the latest research on particle toxicity
• Gain new insights on macrophage behaviour, the nuances of lung overload and its extrapolation from rodent models to humans.
• Engage in roundtable discussions with industry experts and scientists, facilitating a shared understanding of particle toxicity and its regulatory implications
• Contribute to discussions on classification initiatives and OELs
